Wikileaks recently released a passel of emails which appeared to show that the DNC had it in for Bernie Sanders and secretly favored Hillary Clinton. This was so embarrassing, apparently, that the chairwoman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, was forced to resign on the eve of the Democratic National Convention (she will serve until it is concluded).

OMG! The DNC favors Hillary? How could this be? Say it ain't so!

Yet another scandal attached, one way or another, to Hillary. How many does this make now? A hundred? Thousand? I don't know. If there ever was a scandal magnet, she's it.

But what's goofy about this is that there's a scandal at all. Who would imagine that Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders would be on equal footing within the DNC or the Democratic Party? Seriously. Hillary is from Chicago, the home of twisted politics and political mafias. Does anyone imagine she got where she is today by being likable and honest campaigning? Come on. This is Hillary we're talking about. Besides, her competition is a self-described "Democratic Socialist". Does anyone think that the democrats really want their brand aligned with socialism?

So, score another scandal for Hillary. This time Wasserman Schultz gets to be the one who gets thrown under the bus. Boo hoo.

I'm reminded of the incident in which Wikileaks released a bunch of emails which highlighted the fact that we were spying on allied nations. Likewise a heavy dose of silliness. If you think that any country in the world doesn't have a confidential folder (or bureau) dedicated to the U.S., you're kidding yourself. The rule is: everyone spies on everyone else. Period. You can try to convince yourself that it's this big, dark secret, but it's not.
